Description of the research topic:

Interval inversion of well logging data. Inversion-based estimation of volumetric parameters, textural (or other zone parameters) and geometric parameters. Hyperparameter estimation and meta-heuristic optimum search. Development of global inversion methods (Genetic Algorithm, Simulated Annealing, PSO). Development of inversion methods to increase the accuracy and reliability of estimation. Application in water- and hydrocarbon prospecting wells.
