Description of the research topic:

The aims of this PhD research are the examination and investigation of the partly stabilized zirconium-dioxide and porous ceramic ZrO2-MgO composites for biomedical application. This research work must be focused on studies of the effect of the ZrO2 and MgO concentration on phase composition, pore and crystalline structure and pores surface morphology. The relations between mechanical strength, porous and crystalline structure of the ZrO2-MgO composites also must be examined and studied.
