Description of the research topic:

We investigate the pathomechanism of neurological disorders (especially migraine, multiple sclerosis and neurodegenaration) in experimental models and in patients (biomarker research). Furthermore, we measure the effects of newly synthesized compounds (especially kynurenic acid analogues) in these experimental models.
