Description of the research topic:

Fast and flexible reaction for the changing environmental challenges has always been a demanding task for the organizations. The development of technology, innovative procedures and globalization processes have all influenced the approach and functions of human resource management. Beside traditional functions, such novel activity areas have appeared or become appreciated and emphasized such as knowledge-, retention-, generation-, competence-, talent-, and diversity management. Moreover, we may notice the focus on HR/employer branding, health promotion and HR controlling, and we may notice work flow management on international level. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that help in enhancing the employee engagement across the different generations. The basic aim of this research: is there a significant difference between the antecedents of employee engagement for millennial and baby boomers workforce. The results of this research will help the organizations to determine factors to enhance employee engagement, to understand the most important factors for engaging different generations, to reduce turnover rates and help to keep the workforce. Regarding research methods, both secondary and primary examinations are required.
