Description of the research topic:
Cognitive information systems belong to the field of cognitive informatics. Cognitive information systems and cognitive infocommunication methods are being used in more and more fields, the application possibilities are being studied in several research. With cognitive information systems, intelligent data analysis and information processing can be used to implement data at a higher level, which leads to the extraction of new information and the learning of new results based on them. The methods of cognitive informatics and data analysis are widely used in the study of human-machine interaction, making it more efficient, which anticipates the application of new communication possibilities and solutions in the field of human-computer interfaces.
Within the framework of the topic, a human-computer interface system based on artificial intelligence should be developed and implemented, the operation of an industrial processes, monitoring of their condition, quick decisions and interventions depending on the condition can be implemented more efficiently. The specific industrial process and related interfaces, the applied artificial intelligence methods (fuzzy, neural, genetic and other decision support methods) will be finalized during the specification of the topic.
To be developed during the topic:
- the operational model of the industrial process, the definition of relevant intervention and decision points
- specification of boundary conditions, definition of new analysis processes, interfaces
- development and implementation of data analysis processes and interfaces
- performing specific analyzes, interpreting analyzed data, exploring new results
- possible approaches to improving a given industrial process and preparing for these improvements
