Description of the research topic:
The modelling and design of tent structures have been intensively
researched in the past few decades. However there are uncovered areas,
which require further investigations, for example acoutic and
thermal simulation of tent structures. These studies require strong
informatics knowledge, as typically some computer programs are
involved in these simulations. The research covers multiple engineering
fields and multidisciplinary knowledge or acquisition of these.
