Description of the research topic:

Terrorist organizations recognized the benefits come from the use of Internet. They spread their religious ideologies all over the social media, try to recruit new sympathizers, supporters and last but not least warriors. Due to the activity of the law enforcement agencies and secret services together with the self-censorship of the social media they moved some part of their activity to the so called Dark Web. The ultimate aims of our research are to get to know the significant terrorist organizations, their activity on the Internet and we try to estimate their activity on the Dark Web. We try to find unique patterns, methods which are typical for terrorist organizations. Is there a realistic chance of terrorist acts committed in cyberspace and how and in what way can the Dark Web be involved. We develop recommendations for improvement of the fight against terrorist organizations in the cyberspace including the open Internet and the Dark Web.

5, How does look like the terrorist organizations profile on the dark web? Which are the most visited and widely known blogs, forums, chatrooms. How can you get more information on their Dark Web activity? Is there any chance to associate some kind of illegal activity with one of or more of the terrorist organisations.
