Description of the research topic:

The life history curve of products is sigmoid type curve. Sigmoid curves are commonly applied for the description and prediction of different growth phenomena. After a detailed „State of the art” introduction, the task will be to study some characteristic examples of sigmoid curves and their applications and to apply sigmoid curves for the description, analysis, approximation and qualification of several products in the different stages of their life curve.
