Description of the research topic:

The aim of our study is to determine the effects of various neuropeptides (e.g. endomorphins and urocortins) on different neurohormones (e.g. CRH, AVP, oxytocin, ACTH and glucocorticoids) and neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin, dopamine, GABA, glutamate and catecholamine), which play important role in stress and stress-related diseases (e.g. anxiety and depression).
