Description of the research topic:
Researchable topics cover the basic questions of the legal status of the employees focusing primarily on the traditional, socially motivated legal protection. Relevant topics can be researched in the context of employment and labour law of the 21st century keeping in mind the crystallised values of labour law. The already stable forms of atypical employment along with such new ways of work that reflect the technological and economic development and barely fit into the framework of labour law can be subjects to elaboration. Research topics, on the one hand, could be theoretical and on the other hand, practical focusing on relevant jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights and Hungarian labour courts. Topics based on the labour law aspects of the social policy of the European Union are highly recommended focusing on the European Pillar of Social Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Topics dealing with the human right nature of labour and social rights along with the international aspect of labour law are also open to research with special regard to the safeguarding of human dignity at work, equal employment and the right to fair and just working conditions.
