Description of the research topic:

Asia has always got a unique attention in the Hungarian geographical researches. Nowadays the official Look East Policy is not only an economic, but also a scientific question both in the aspect of the European Union and Hungary as well. The reason is that the scientific exploration of the processes of this globalized world and the position of our country in this complex network of relationships as well as the past and the possible future relations results not only in economic but also in scientific advantages.
