Description of the research topic:

The challenges of 21st century pose a significant task to societies affected by global influences in many respects. Promoting adaptability is a crucial issue for sustainable development. This topic covers the opportunities promoting the sustainable and at the same time efficient functioning of socio-economic systems. It starts from the solutions that make up for modern challenges reaching the potential of enhancing the sustainability of villages and cities, including the efficient management of environmental elements, with particular emphasis on the role of modern technologies.
