Description of the research topic:
The focus of this research project is to create efficient object recognition and classification methods, especially the open set recognition algorithms, to process data from sensor readings. The primary fields of application are the processing of data gathered from intelligent sensor networks and mobile handheld devices, as well as the categorization of objects based on their behavior. The implementation and evaluation of the methods in simulation and real environments are part of the research tasks.
