Description of the research topic:

Most of the Earth’s subsurface fluid (water, steam, hydrocarbon) reservoirs occur in fractured formations. Moreover, radioactive waste depositories are constructed in fractured rock bodies. Detailed study of these reservoirs is a complex task what involves petrological, structural geological, hydogeological, geophysical as well as mathematical methods.
