Description of the research topic:

Students taking this research topic can examine regional policies, urban regeneration and tourism projects at various scales from a geographical point of view. Special attention is paid to (1) spatial aspects of EU and national planning and governance structures; (2) social conflicts connected to the planning and development process; (3) providing recommendations and innovative instruments for spatial (community) planning.
