Description of the research topic:

Description: Several human activities could alter the active in-channel and floodplain processes. The aims of the research are (i) to map the spatial and temporal pattern of human impacts on a specific river, and (ii) to analyse the fluvial response on these disturbing factors. The project will focus on horizontal and vertical parametric changes of a river, the sediment discharge alterations, and on floodplain processes.
