Description of the research topic:

Among the archaeological finds the stone tools, slags and ceramics, glasses require important, mineralogy based analytical work (type of raw materials, technology, usage and provenance research). Beyond the identification of raw materials sources also laboratory experiments are applied to solve the production technologies, and the results are integrated in archaeological, historical context.
