Description of the research topic:

The municipal solid wastes (MSW) are potential secondary raw materials. The EU aims very ambitious targets for this development. Therefore, significant scientific work is still necessary to fulfil these aims. The task starts with the MSW sampling and analysis methodology development. Analysis of MSW collection systems and their effect on MSW processing technologies. A really current issue is the examination and development of food waste collection and processing. Development of physical and mechanical MSW processing technologies. Sensor based waste sorting techniques and their application.
