Description of the research topic:

„The topic mainly looks at the importance of factors of production (capital and human capital) ont he one hand, and total factor productivity on the other hand, in explaining cross-country income differentials. A subsequent question is to find the determinants of factor endowments and productivity. The research topic also includes the analysis of the effects of the institutional framework, economic policy, initial conditions, and the external environment.”
