Description of the research topic:
Hungary pays greater and greater attention to the continent within the frame of the „southern opening policy”, where the obstacle of the improvement and the Hungarian participation are the conflicts present in almost all of the countries, areas of the continent, which have effect on the security dimensions of the EU and the countries in alliance with it (including Hungary) as well.
Aims:
Introducing and describing the African conflicts, their particularities, dynamics, as the beginning reasons of the conflicts The effect on the regio-security political balance of the great pace development/interstate conflicts of the African countries. The possible causes of the large-scale migration in- and outside the continent and the possibilities of the consolidation of the modern-age people flaw. The probable causes of the formation of the African radical organizations, their activity, the steps which could be taken against them. Considering with great care the African peacekeeping operations (UN, AU, NATO, EU and other regional organizations), the Christian-Muslim connections, the migration, network system/cooperation of the continent’s countries and the EU, NATO, as well as Hungary. Besides this there is opportunity for one or two smaller or regional conflict (for example: the Western Saharan conflict, the activities of the Boko Haram or just the 5th tuareg uprising in Mali).
