Description of the research topic:

Reasons of theme-selection:
Hungary pays greater and greater attention to the continent within the frame of the „southern opening policy”, in which the various peacekeeping and peace monitoring operations are essential for the sustenance of improvement, for the creation of stability. It is especially important to analyse the present operations carried out by Hungarian participation and to integrate them on every level of the military training. For the very reason since Hungarian soldiers and policemen take part currently in 7 African pecakeeping operation (Western Sahara, Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Somalia and the Central African Republic).
Aims:
Describing the various African peacekeeping operations (peacekeeping, peace monitoring peace forcing, etc.) as systems, but might as well one-by-one. The function and activity of the main organizations of the African crisis management, emphasizing the similarities and the differences between several organizations (the UN, NATO, the EU and the AU), as well as the so called African solutions. The evaluation of national and international military operations launched in order to resolve African conflicts. The activity of the civilian/peace protecting missions launched for strenghtening the public order and law of the African countries. The effects of the change of the European Africa-politics on the activities carried by the the alliance systems and countries on the continent. In addition to this, I take into consideration the African activities of the Hungarian military and law enforcement forces.
