Description of the research topic:
The goal is to develop a new numerical triobological model that can be integrated into computer aided engineering (CAE) systems, based on the Archard law. The model should be further developed for abrasion testing in knee prostheses, taking into account the geometry of the associated surfaces, the friction between the surfaces (with its temporal variation), and the varying force ratios of the various sports movements.
