Description of the research topic:
The availability of a sufficient amount and quality of workforce is an important factor for the economy. The topic is closely linked to the issue of employability of the workforce. The ability of the individual and the various social groups to effectively participate in the labour market is a complex phenomenon, alongside the interaction of many attributes. Differences in the spatial distribution of labour supply and demand, and the mitigation of employability differences may be an important basis for competitiveness through the improvement of economic and social factors.
