Description of the research topic:
Investigation of the steroid converting enzyme machinery with in vitro laboratory methods. Identification of new inhibitors against key enzymes involved in the hormone biosynthesis, studying mechanisms and structure-activity relationships of the inhibitory effects. Collecting data for development of pharmacons exerting antiandrogenic or antiestrogenic effect on enzyme level.
