Description of the research topic:

1a. Our research fields are visually based decision making and learning. Our decisions are so fast, that we assume that visual information (without the fine details) reaches the frontal cortex via the magnocellular pathway. We test this hypothesis by parallel recordings from the temporal and frontal cortices of experimental animals.
2a. Implicit learning is a way to gather information based on repetitive encounters. The mechanisms of this process are investigated using psychophysics and EEG in human subjects.
