Description of the research topic:

Carrying macromolecular drugs (enzymes, antibodies) through
the blood-brain-barrier and the cell membrane is one of the biggest
challenges of the modern drug design. In this project we aim to design and
synthesize multiple drug-carrying systems, which enable the transport of
proteins through the BBB and the cell membrane without losing their
biological effectivity.
