Description of the research topic:

Endoscopic simulators and biological models have an increasingly significant role in the training of diagnostic and operative endoscopy. Simulators also have a potential role to compare different types of endoscopic shaft controlling methods, such as single-hand and double-hand operation during colonoscopy and ERCP. The aim of our research is to compare the quality parameters such as total investigation time, success rate, complications in different types of examination methods and also in endoscopists and endoscopic assistants with different level of expertise.
