Description of the research topic:

Morphological (transformation index) and functional changes (phenotype, protein expression, phagocytosis, proliferation, motility, etc.) will be studied in vivo and in vitro. A series of pro- and anti-inflammatory drugs/compounds will be analyzed according to their pro- and anti-inflammatory effects. Special attention wil be made to the anti-inflammatory effects of kinurenic acid and its derivatives.
