Description of the research topic:
Magnetically assisted capsule endoscopy (MACE) system, developed by Ankon has been recently introduced as a non-invasive method to investigate the upper GI tract and especially for gastric pathology. The aim of our research is to analyze the safety, feasibility and accuracy of MACE in the diagnosis of the upper GI tract and colonic disorders, and to compare the results with standard endoscopic methods.
