Description of the research topic:

Empirical evidence on musical aptitude and its development demonstrates that that musical training has a positive effect in intellectual, linguistic and attentional functions. The research topic aims at investigating these relations using behavioral and electrophysiological measurements. A topic offers the possibility to join a longitudinal study on the effects of a specific musical education program on cognitive functions.
