Description of the research topic:
Aurel Kolnai was one of the most original moral and political thinker in the twentieth century. His oeuvre includes books on Nazism, utopian thinking, Conservatism, dignity, forgiveness, and a number of emotions (such as disgust, fear, anger, envy) that are evidently relevant to political thinking. Scholarly interest in his thinking has been growing but there is a lot to be unearthed and learned from his works.
