Description of the research topic:
Modern political thinking is being heavily influenced by axiology, linguistic and phenomenological research. Since Rawls' theory of justice and Berlin's essays on liberty, all sorts of other fundamental values have been discussed in political and moral philosophy. Further, the question of what makes a value political or moral is now widely discussed. Political realism, for instance, has put this problem into the center of political theory.
