Description of the research topic:

The cooperative is a very successful entrepreneurial form in the US and in Western Europe. In Hungary and in the countries of the post-socialist block this form is not very prevalent although according to theory the situation these countries are in cooperatives should flourish. Aim of the research is to find out the causes of this phenomenon with the methodology of Organizational Economics.
