Description of the research topic:
In the era of globalization the flow and valorisation (reproduction) of capital have become global as well. The cycle of the reproduction of capital produces and fixes developmental hierarchies. The countries and regions participate in the global cycle and on its different stages accordingly to their level of development. This means that the differently developed economies share the results of the accumulations cycles in different ways and to different degrees. This spatio-temporal division of functions effects the evolution of the crises of capital accumulation. The research questions are as follows. How do the different economic theories explain the origins of crises, their global character and different effects on the different countries? What are the possible modes of the elimination of crises and/or the mitigation of their negative effects? How could the relaxation of the connections with the global cycles serve the development of lagging behind nations and what are the successful modes of gaining independence from the capital of the centre economies?
