A XIX. Század nemzeti mozgalamai nyomán számos Közép- és Kelet-európai országban a zenés színházi műfajok új dimenziója alakult ki. Ezek vizsgálatával és összehasonlító elemzésével, illetve a közöttük felllépő interakció mechanizmusaival foglalkozó téma.
