Description of the research topic:

Helicobacter pylori infection represents a significant epidemiologic problem worldwide. Although the global prevalence rates are decreasing, the appearance of therapy resistant strains represent a major challange. Since Hungarian data are almost completely missing, the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Team in Szeged started to collect data on the epidemiological characteristics of the disease.
