Description of the research topic:

Eosinophylic esophagitis is a new cronic inflammatory disorder of the esophagus. Its prevalence is coutinuously increasing, and recently it has been reached a significant level in the western countries. Hungarian epidemiological data are still insufficient as well as the available therapeutic options. As a consequence it is important to get more data on the pathogenesis for the identification of potential therapeutic targets
