Design of new 2’-, 3’-, 5’- and nucleobase protecting groups and syntheses
of nucleoside building blocks for solid-phase synthesis of modified
nucleic acids. Design and synthesis of 3’-alkynyl moiety containing
3’-linkers for the preparation of short, cyclic oligonucleotides.
Investigation of the synthesis of short, double stranded, cyclic
oligonucleotides for biological applications.
