Description of the research topic:

The effective treatment of cerebral ischemia remains a considerable challenge, and the discovery of potential targets for novel treatment strategies is essential. The research evaluates the efficacy of novel pharmacological approaches to alleviate neurodegeneration, with particular focus on the integrity of the cerebral blood flow responses to neuronal activation.
