Description of the research topic:

Developing software tools for logging students’ and end-users’ computer related activities in the course of computer problem solving. Based on the log files, well-structured databases are planned to be created in order to recognize the patterns of the problem solving approaches. After being aware of the different problem solving methods, we plan to provide the theoretical background of effective problem solving in computer related activities and to develop tools which would serve these approaches.
