Abbreviation of location of studies: DE IK

Description of the research topic:

The aim of functional genomics is to discover the role of certain genes in organisms. However, biologcal experiments only investigate only a small set of possibl biological functions. The aim of this reserch subject is to establish an algorithm to re-analiyse microscope screens and predict possible gene functions by using other publicly available databases of other modalities. Creating a common representation for the different modalities will enable the development of a novel machine learning algorithm.
