Description of the research topic:

One of the objectives of modern plant protection practice is to reduce persistence of pesticides, by applying agrochemicals that are (bio)transformed in a short time. The toxicokinetic and toxicodynamic properties of the transformation products formed may differ from the parent compound and therefore draw attention from environmental, food, phyto- as well as human-toxicological aspects. During the doctoral work, HPLC-MS methods will be developed for the analytical determination of pesticides and their transformation products. The scientific results will be evaluated metabolomical point of view.
