Description of the research topic:

In american football, basketball and football, field test batteries surve for giving an overall picture of physical abilities of the athletes. However, validated field tests do not exist in waterpolo yet, because monitoring some of the physicological parameters in water is difficult. The goal is to elaborate and validate a test system consisting of swimming and water polo-specific motions in water, which reliably show the actual physical condition of water polo players."
