Description of the research topic:

The fundamental difference between cancer cells and somatic cells is defined be the presence of somatic mutations in the cancer cell genome. The project involves the modelling of mutational processes in tumorigenesis in genetically modified cell lines. An affinity for the bioinformatic analysis of genomics data is required.
