Description of the research topic:
Reactive molecules and radicals with astrochemical and/or atmospheric chemistry relevance will be prepared both in jet-cooled molecular beams and in low-temperature matrixes. The species will be characterized by laser induced and laser induced dispersed fluorescence spectroscopy, as well as by matrix isolation spectroscopic (IR, UV, Raman) methods. The novel species will be identified on the basis of comparison of the experimental spectra and high-level ab initio computation of the spectra.
