Description of the research topic:

Nowadays, there is an increasing concern on indoor air quality as people spend about 80-90% of their time indoors (e.g., dwellings, offices, schools, shopping centres, etc.). The aim of the InAirQ project is to investigate the indoor air quality in primary school buildings and to elaborate and test action plans to improve the indoor environment in school buildings in Central Europe. The international project has already started under the coordination of National Public Health Institute, Hungary. The project is financially supported by Interreg Central Europe. The PhD student will participate in the project and her/his roles will be the evaluation of the field campaign on air quality in primary school buildings, sample collection and analysis, elaboration of action plans, statistical data evaluation.
