Description of the research topic:

Designing an energy efficient building is focusing on the energy use reduction of traditional DHW and HVAC systems. The role of other appliances is increasing with the improvement of energetic parameters of buildings. This can cover 30-40 % of the energy used in a low energy building. This is influenced mainly by the efficiency of the appliances and the consumer behaviour. The aim of the research is to analize the effect of building service appliances and their use on the energy balance.
