Description of the research topic:
The late embryonal and early foetal mortality affect approximately the 10% of pregnant cows therefore they contribute to a serious economic loss. High producing animals are more affected. The late embryonal and early foetal loss are in correlation with the blood progesteron level. The late embryonal and early foetal mortality could be decreased by the direct or indirect increase of the progesteron level.
