Description of the research topic:
Significant immunosuppressive factors are planned to be examined on a primary hepatocyte – Kupffer cell co-culture model using cells isolated from chicken liver. For this purpose, the individual and combined effects of certain mycotoxins, lipopolysaccharides and heat stress will be studied on cell cultures. Further, our aim is to test the action of presumably protective molecules possibly influencing the above mentioned effects.
