Description of the research topic:

Stable nitroxide free radicals has found a wide application in material science, biophysics and pharmaceutical sciences. This project covers the synthesis of paramagnetic silicon and phosphorus compounds to construct carbon-carbon bonds in the presence of amphiphilic stable free radical centre. The novel compounds synthesized will be used for construction of new, hopefully bioactive compounds as well as sensor molecules.
